Edith Pearl Crigger, 67, of Henrico passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022.

She was a seamstress with AJD Hat Factory and was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, spending time in the pool (tanning), going to the casino and the beach, trips to Walmart with her sister and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Jackson Stargell; mother, Ella Agnes Hicks; and sister, Nancy Marie Shaver and is survived by her husband, Donald Wayne “Bubba” Crigger; daughter, Cristal Anne Crigger-Testerman (John Testerman); grandchildren, Kyle Steward Martin (Megan Martin) and John Camden Testerman; siblings, William Arthur “Bill” Stargell (Judy Stargell), Janice Lynn Walker (Larry Walker), Larry Jackson Stargell (Kathy Stargell) and Bridget Diane Cosby (George Cosby); great-grandchildren, Levi Wayne Martin and Payton Marie Martin; a host of nieces and nephews; and dearest friend, Tracey Andrick.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will be held Saturday, March 5, at 11 a.m.

The family will have a reception after the service at the home of Edith and Bubba.
