Obituary - Douglas Wayne Meador

Douglas Wayne Meador, 66, of Sandston, passed away December 28, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Gloria Meador, and elder sister Brenda Jean Meador Lund. Doug is survived by his wife, Sindy, stepdaughters Jennifer Klenzmann and Gabrielle Edwards (Sam), sister Sharon Meador, brother Ronald Meador, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Doug was a 1975 graduate of Highland Springs High School. He worked for VDOT for over 30 years as an electronic technician. He enjoyed fixing up houses and watching HGTV and he loved going to the condo in North Myrtle Beach.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. A graveside funeral service will follow at 3 pm in Washington Memorial Park.
