Doris Daniel Cheek, 94, of Henrico, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was a member of Highland Springs United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Berkley Cheek and is survived by her daughters, Judi Clarke (Randy) and Karen Gilbert (Ricky); grandchildren, Janice Crowder and Tammy Scottsman (Tommy); five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 22, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held Thursday, May 23, at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
