Obituary - Diane Hodges Clemons

Diane Hodges Clemons, 80, of Glen Allen, VA went home to be with her Lord on December 9, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, JC Clemons, parents William and Mabel Christine Riley Hodges, brothers Keith Hodges, Christopher Hodges, Dwight Hodges, Jesse Hodges, and beloved nephew Bill Hodges. She is survived by her children, Jamie Clemons (Karen) of Mechanicsville, VA, Janet Garrett (Blaine) of Glen Allen, VA, grandchildren Jordan Garrett, Alex Garrett, Lauren Clemons, Jacob Clemons, brother David Hodges (Doris) sisters-in-law Barbara Hill (Mike), Wanda Walsh (Tom), Teresa Gibrall, brother-in-law Charles Clemons (Linda), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Diane was born on March 13, 1944, in Huntington, WV. She was a long-time attendee of Gayton Baptist Church where she enjoyed her special friends in her Bible study class. She loved shopping, family beach trips, playing bridge, playing poker, and Elvis. But what she most cherished was being “Grandma” and “Aunt Diane”.

The family will host a celebration of Diane’s life 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 17 at Gayton Baptist Church in Glen Allen, VA. with the family receiving guests at 10 a.m., with a reception following immediately after service. Interment at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Gayton Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
