Delores Ann “Mema” Renick, 86, of Sandston, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Mema is survived by her loving sister, Lynn (Wally); daughter, Deborah Stagg (Eddie); sons, Deane (Julie) and Duane (Kathryn); grandchildren, Tom Stagg, Shawn Bowen, Aaron Stagg (Danielle), Tucker (Hillary), Tyler (Heather), Joshua, Bryce (Brittany) and Dylan (Katelin) Renick; great-grandchildren, Shaine (Dainey), Chloe, Jacob, Eliah, Emma Rose, Jayce, Gabriel, Issac, Hannah and Eve ; great-great-grandchildren, Atticus and Carson; nephews, Ross (Debby), Mark (Janice) and Scott.

She was known for her dedication to family, helping hands and love for the “River Place”. Mema will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.

A celebration of Christian Life will be held on Tuesday, February 21, at 11 a.m. at Fort Lee Baptist Church, 2727 Charles City Rd., Richmond, VA 23231, with a graveside service to follow at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, VA 23150.

A fellowship will be held in the Family Life Center, back at the church after the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Fort Lee Baptist Church, Benevolence Fund.
