Obituary - David Lee Nowell

David Lee Nowell, 73, of Henrico, passed away June 16, 2024. He was the son of Gladys and Richard Nowell. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan Lord Nowell, his brother Douglas Nowell (Betsy) and nephews Daniel Nowell (Robin), Bonnie Nowell, Caroline Nowell (Joe), Grant Taylor. and many wonderful cousins He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Emily Nowell Taylor. David was the owner of Green Flag Racing Collectibles and served as a volunteer firefighter for Henrico County for many years. He was an avid scuba diver and guitar player and loved time spent at the beach. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., June 23 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd. where funeral services will also be held 10 a.m., June 24. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
