Hiller, Colleen Berry, 56, of Richmond VA passed away surrounded by her family on October 13, 2022.

Colleen is survived by her parents Michael and Patty Berry of Brandenton, FL, Robert Hiller, husband of 21 years, and two children, Michael Hiller and Shannon Hiller, all of Richmond. She is predeceased by her sister Shannon Berry.

Colleen was born and raised in Dayton OH. After graduation from University of Dayton in 1988,

Colleen began her career with Ernst & Young in Cincinnati, OH. She moved on to work for the firm’s Chicago and Toronto offices. She was promoted to Partner in 2001 and served as a partner for 15 years. Colleen was passionate about mentoring and coaching her teams and training them on technical areas of accounting. Along the way, Colleen earned a Master’s degree of Science in Financial Markets in 1997 and navigated several clients through the 2008 financial crisis.

Colleen was always very involved in her community and served as a Board member for Commonwealth Catholic Charities and served as a mentor for children living with economic disadvantages.

Throughout her life, she has been a loving presence in the lives of family and many friends. Colleen will always be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor, and loyalty to her family and friends.

A memorial mass to honor Colleen will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church located at 9501 Gayton Road, Richmond VA on October 20, 2022 at noon, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to St Mary’s Catholic Church.
