Obituary - Christine Coppedge Cooper

Christine Coppedge Cooper, 96, of Henrico, passed away August 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Carr Cooper; and her grandson, Dalton Edward Atkinson. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Cooper Atkinson (Marc); son, Jeffrey Carr Cooper (Wendi); granddaughter, Melanie Atkinson; two great-granddaughters, Sydney and Brooke; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Cooper was an active member of Ridge Baptist Church. She dearly loved her family and strawberry Pop-Tarts. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 29, at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, at Ridge Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Westhampton Memorial Park.
