Charles Lancaster, 84, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Barlow Lancaster: parents Fred and Nellie Lancaster: brother, Fred Lancaster: sisters Margaret, Nellie and Joyce: daughter, Linda Doane: great grandson, Nick Mays and is survived by his daughter, Brenda Gilliam (Ronald): 4 granddaughters, 10 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Charlie was an avid outdoorsman, loving hunting and fishing.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 29 from 11 am until service time at 12 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA., 23231. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
