Obituary - Catherine Phylinda Hartsook Harding

Catherine Phylinda Hartsook Harding, age 92, of Henrico, Virginia and formerly of Clifton Forge, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
She was born February 14, 1931 in Clifton Forge to the late William D. and Lucy Frances Kirkland Hartsook. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, collecting recipes, and preparing Sunday dinners for her family. She loved to attend yard sales and auctions with her husband.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Earl Harding Sr.; four sisters, Mary Hoke, Helen Reeser, Rachel H. Nicely, and Rita H. Rizer; three brothers, Jesse W. Hartsook, Richard Hartsook, and David Hartsook. She is survived by two sons, Wallace Earl Harding Jr. (Mindy) and Gregory N. Harding; grandchildren, Joshua Earl Harding and Zachary Ross Harding.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
