Carolyn Stout Herrmann went to be with the Lord on 5/13/23. She was the widow of Richard E. Herrmann after 51 years of marriage. She is survived by a daughter, Martha H Phillips and her husband Jeff; a son, David Herrmann and his wife Kim; grandchildren Becca Miley, Kelsey Tucker (Nicholas), Daniel Herrmann, Logan Stycos (Spencer), Chase Hamilton and 6 Great-grandchildren. Mrs Herrmann was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was organist at at Redeemer Lutheran Church for 26 years. After retiring as organist, she sang in choirs, played Handbells at Redeemer Lutheran Church, St. Andrews Methodist Church and Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mrs Herrmann worked for the VA Parole Board and federal parole for 19 years. She was a faithful volunteer at the Henrico County Police Department and a member of the Henrico County SALT Academy. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

A visitation will be held Weds. May 17th from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Woody Funeral Home - Parham. A funeral service will be held Thurs. May 18th at 1 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2315 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, with interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Capital Project Fund.
