Benton, Carolyn B., 80 of Sandston, passed away peacefully in her home on December 15, 2022. Born March 5, 1942, in Iron Gate, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Helen Bess; husband, John; and her two sons, Kevin and Terry Redd, and granddaughter,Tia Redd. She is survived by her loving daughter, Rhonda; granddaughter's, Amy, Ashley, Kelcie; and great grandchildren, Layla, Liam, Mikayla; Sister Judy Knick. Per Carolyn’s wishes the family will hold a private memorial service in late spring at her final resting place.
