Obituary - Carol Jean Plageman

Carol Jean Plageman, of Henrico County, peacefully passed away on March 4, 2022. She was 78 years old. She is survived by her two children Tracey (Mike) Ward, and John (Rae) Plageman III; three granddaughters, Ashley (Teddy) Layell, Shelby Guest and Lindsey Guest; one grandson, Zak Plageman and 4 great grandchildren Brintley, Brayden, Brayleigh and Brooklynne Layell. Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years John Plageman Jr., as well as her parents Virginia and Arthur Steiner. Carol retired in 2003 from Henrico County Schools where she was a teacher’s aide at Lakeside and Crestview Elementary Schools. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 5:00pm on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Woody Funeral Home-Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Virginia 23229.
