Bonnie Sanders Stinson, 83, of Varina, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023.
She was administrator for the Fraternal Order of Police of Virginia and was a charter member of Henrico FOP Lodge Auxiliary # 4, past president of Henrico Auxiliary, past president of Virginia State FOP Auxiliary and past member of National Peace Officers Memorial Committee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Stinson; sons, Johnny and Jay; and sisters, Sharon, Candi and Terry.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Zentner and her husband, Bucky; granddaughters, Jordan Zentner and Carter Zentner; children, Debbie and Robbie East; granddaughter, Jessica East Meadows (Jamie); special niece, Jane Long; and sister, Paige Askew.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 4, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
