Parsley, Beverly Limerick, 71, of Richmond died Friday, April 28, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Parsley and her sister, Gail Stoufer. She is survived by her husband Steve Parsley, her niece Tiffany Prokopis (Pete), her nephew Andrew Stoufer (Amanda), two great nephews George and James Prokopis, and two great nieces, Alexis and Avery Stoufer. Beverly was a graduate of Longwood University, and a teacher at Ruby F. Carver Elementary School for 38 years. Beverly was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church and was a beloved leader in the LAMBS program caring for special needs adults. Beverly shared a love of nature with all who knew her. Her gentle spirit and quiet strength will be missed by family, a family of friends, generations of students, her colleagues in education, and her church congregation.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday, May 6 at 1:00, interment at Westhampton Memorial Park at 2:00, and a small reception at Trinity United Methodist Church at 2:30. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the J. P. Parsley Scholarship Fund, Godwin High School, 2101 Pump Road Richmond VA, 23238 or the LAMBS program at
