Beth Anne Cirbus Morris, RN, 78, of Henrico, Virginia, died on February 26, 2024 with her beloved partner in crime and eldest daughter, Bonnie, at her side. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy of three talented daughters: Bonnie Morris, Patricia (John) Ayres, and Erin (Brian) Abner. Beth is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Thomas Ayres, Jack Morris-Prestup, Daniel Ayres, Reilly Abner, and Charles Morris-Prestup. Being a Nana was her greatest joy and she was immensely proud of all her grandchildren. Beth is also survived by her cousin Joan Petersen, and countless dear friends. Beth was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Robert Morris.

Born in Staten Island, NY to Beatrice and Charles Cirbus, Beth studied at Pratt Institute and Pace University, ultimately achieving her RN at Ann May School of Nursing. With her sharp and critical mind, coupled with her drive to help others, Beth advanced in her nursing career. She was a mentor and saw potential in every person and was quick to champion anyone needing a boost. Beth was an avid animal lover, fierce college football fan (Go Canes!), and skilled poker player. She was a talented writer and skilled crafter excelling in cross stitch and crocheting. Nana never said no to an adventure!

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 2 between 11 am and 1 pm at St. Alban’s Anglican Catholic Church, 4006 Hermitage Rd, Richmond, VA 23227.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider donations to the Richmond SPCA.
