Obituary - Barbara Lloyd Herbert

Barbara Lloyd Herbert, age 89, passed away on April 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Lloyd; her sisters, Jean Reese and Betty Metzger; her sons, Michael A. Herbert and Christopher D. Herbert. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles M. Herbert; four children, Teresa Horton (Chris), Donna Musser (Leon), Timothy Herbert and Monica Luck (Kevin); seven grandchildren, Ben Herbert (Amy), Conner Herbert, Nick Horton, Emily Borneison (Scott), Matthew Musser (Adeline), Haley Ross (Tyler) and Adam Luck; four great grandchildren, Lynleigh Borneison, Charles Musser, Blake Musser and Kinsley Ross. Her sister Josephine Via (Frank) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA 23228 where a Christian wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. A mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8200 Woodman Road. Henrico, VA 23228 on Monday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m. Mass will be streamed at https://ollrichva.org/live-mass. Interment to follow in Mount Calvary. The family respectfully requests that masks be worn at services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
