Barbara “Alice” Gintout, 86, of Sandston, affectionally known as Nana, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
She was a retired employee of American Tobacco Company and was a lifetime member of Sandston Moose Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Gintout and parents, Leslie and Fannie Walden.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Garrett (Sporty); grandchildren, Hunter Turner (Jessica), Morgan Sievers (Bubba) and Chris Garrett; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Camden, Scarlett, Allison, Savannah, C. J., Kylee and Ella.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 1, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held Friday, December 2, at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
