Obituary - Barbara Ann Albertson

Barbara Ann Albertson “Nanny”, 88, of Glen Allen, went to be with the Lord April 22, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Anna Staples Irving; her husband of 45 years, Ivan E. Albertson, Sr.; and her sons, Eddie, Marty and Roger Albertson. She is survived by her daughter, Candy Satchell (Dennis); daughter-in-law, Sue Albertson; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and sister, Jeanette Cardamone. Barbara was born and raised in Richmond. She loved playing cards and shopping and was a member of Hunton Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., where funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
