Arlynn Pryor of Richmond, Virginia passed away peacefully in her home in Western Henrico at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Menachem and Yetta (Davis) Menachem. Survivors include her beloved husband, Ronald Pryor; sons, Brian Housman (Amy) and David Housman (Melissa); and sisters, Karen Malamud and Lauren Wilson (Chris); as well as grandchildren, Cheryl Utter-Fowler, Devyn Housman, and Rachel Deland; and great-granddaughter, Helena Utter.

Originally born in Brooklyn, New York, Arlynn made her home here in the greater Richmond area for the past 55 years, the vast majority of which she enjoyed being a loyal servant of God and active member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Arlynn was known for her vivacious personality, faith, generosity, and humor – not just to her friends and family, but to countless neighbors, workmates, and members of the community with whom she often shared the same Bible-based hope for the future that comforted her during her final days. Virtually everyone whose path she crossed will have something to remember her by be it a recipe, one of her many silly jokes, or kind words of encouragement. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Eastern on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The service will be conducted via Zoom to enable friends and family from all locations to join together in the observance:
