Kick off fall with a chance to see all nine Henrico County high school marching bands in action at the HCPS Band Showcase Oct. 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hermitage High School’s Chester E. Fritz Stadium, 8301 Hungary Spring Rd.
The event is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Henrico Christmas Mother. In addition to cash donations, the holiday campaign is seeking canned food, jars of peanut butter, cereal and crackers, and new hats, gloves and socks. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the event.
