New COVID cases reported at 3 Henrico schools

New cases of COVID-19 were confirmed at three Henrico schools Oct. 29 and 30, according to the school system. Each case involved an employee.

The system now has reported 54 cases among people in 36 school buildings since Aug. 12, including 21 cases at 19 schools in October.

It was the first case reported at Fairfield Middle; Wilder previously reported a case Sept. 9, while Ratcliffe previously reported an employee case Oct. 16.

The new Wilder case was reported Oct. 29 and involved an employee who was last in the building Oct. 21.

The other two new cases were reported the following day. The one at Fairfield involved an employee who was last at that school Oct. 16, while the employee at Ratcliffe involved last was at that school Oct. 20, according to the school system.
