COVID

New cases of COVID-19 were confirmed at four Henrico schools Oct. 28, according to the school system. The system now has reported 51 cases among people in 35 school buildings since Aug. 12, including 18 cases at 17 schools this month.

The cases occurred at:
• the ACE Center at Hermitage High School (a person who was last in the building Oct. 13);
• Chamberlayne Elementary School (an employee last in the building Oct. 21);
• Rivers Edge Elementary School (an employee last in the building Oct. 22);
• Quioccasin Middle School (a child care employee last in the building Oct. 23).

The new cases were the first reported at Chamberlayne at the ACE Center at Hermitage. Quioccasin previously had reported two cases (Aug. 25 and 26), while Rivers Edge reported one Aug. 31.
