Ten new cases of COVID-19 have been reported at seven Henrico schools since last week.

All of the cases except one were announced Tuesday.

At Highland Springs High School, two people tested positive – one who was involved with a school activity Nov. 2, and another who was last at the school Nov. 4.

At Henrico High School, two other people also tested positive; both were last in the building Nov. 5.

And at Pemberton Elementary School, two employees tested positive; both were last in that building Nov. 5.

Single cases were reported at:

•Maybeury Elementary Nov. 5, involving an employee last in the building Oct. 29;

• Crestview Elementary Nov. 10, involving a person last in the building Oct. 30;

• Shady Grove Elementary Nov. 10, involving an employee last in the building Nov. 4;

• Echo Lake Elementary Nov. 10, involving an employee who tested positive Nov. 7 and was last in the building Nov. 5.

Crestview, Echo Lake, Highland Springs High and Shady Grove had not previously reported a case, but the other schools had (Maybeury Aug. 31, Pemberton Nov. 3 and Henrico High Oct. 11).

The new cases bring to 65 the total number reported at 41 different Henrico public schools since Aug. 12.
