The county has reached a total of nearly 150 outbreaks during the pandemic – incidents in which two or more related cases have been reported. More than 3,000 of Henrico’s 17,660 cases are related to these outbreaks, according to the VDH.

As of Jan. 22, Henrico’s seven-day positivity percentage among PCR testing encounters was 11.1 percent, while its rapid testing positivity percentage during the same period was 9.7 percent. Those percentages lag several days behind in order to include as much data as possible.

Almost 23,000 vaccines have been administered in Henrico County, according to VDH data, and more than 3,300 Henricoans now have been fully vaccinated. Henrico (the state's seventh-largest locality) trails only Fairfax County (the largest) in doses administered.

As of Tuesday, approximately 25,000 vaccines are being administered per day in the state of Virginia. The majority of vaccines are being administered in hospitals, local health departments, and long-term care facilities, according to the VDH.
