Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, and are available to purchase online for $35 apiece at the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum website. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,024. The bobblehead's base reads “Spiders” across the front with a backing featuring the Richmond logo.

WebstUR was introduced as the Spiders' new mascot in 2011 during reunion week, replacing the previous mascot, "Spidey," who was retired because that name was trademarked by Marvel Entertainment, LLC.

UR is the only university with "Spiders" as its nickname. The school's sports teams were known as the Colts until 1894, when sportswriter Ragland Chesterman described Puss Ellyson, a lanky pitcher on the UR baseball team, as "taking to the field. . . as a spider in a web."

The bobbleheads are expected to ship in December.

“We’re excited to unveil the first Richmond Spiders Bobblehead featuring WebstUR in conjunction with the start of the new school year,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said.
