Moody MS parking project to cause traffic delays through Nov. 22

Motorists should expect delays from daily lane closures on Vernon Road between Woodman Road and Dalmain Drive in Northern Henrico beginning Monday, Oct. 28.
One lane of Vernon Road will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a road-improvement project that is expected to last through Nov. 22.
The project will create additional parking adjacent to George H. Moody Middle School. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic during the closure, and Vernon Road will remain open to regular traffic overnight and on weekends.
