Local residents can take advantage of a mobile DMV services event on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Henrico's North Park Public Library, located at 8508 Franconia Road. The event, scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the library’s large conference room, will be hosted by the staff of Senator Schuyler VanValkenburg (D-16th District), in partnership with the DMV Connect team and representatives from the offices of Senator Lamont Bagby (D-14th District) and Delegate Destiny LeVere Bolling (D-80th District).
The DMV Connect team will offer a variety of services, including driver's licenses and REAL ID cards, titles and registrations, disabled parking placards, address changes, and vital record documents. Beginning May 7, 2025, a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or ID card will be required for domestic flights and entry into secure federal facilities and military bases.
While walk-ins are welcome, scheduled appointments will be prioritized. Residents can schedule an appointment online beginning Nov. 20 through the DMV's website by selecting the "book appointment" tab, then the "other service appointment" tab, and choosing "DMV Connect - North Park Library" under the full-service DMV and DMV Connect events list. Next, select a time and follow the prompts to confirm your appointment.
