of Henrico and Steven Laplante of Glen Allen graduated during the summer 2020 semester at Ohio University. Holaday received a bachelor of science in Nursing and Laplante received a master of Business Administration.
Alexis Adkins of Henrico graduated during the summer 2020 semester at Georgia State University. Adkins received a bachelor of science degree.
Cassie Willie of Henrico is an incoming freshman in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Willie’s academic major is Undeclared/Exploratory Studies in AS.
Andrew Parkhurst of Henrico was named to the spring 2020 dean’s list at The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.20 or higher. Micah Cohen of Henrico earned a gold star at The Citadel for the spring 2020 semester. Gold stars are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.7 or higher.
Gov. Ralph Northam recently announced additional appointments to his administration. J. Michael Martinez de Andino of Henrico was named to the Board of Dentistry. Martinez de Andino is retired from his position of senior counsel for Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP.
