Holland Bowles and Olivia Dimond of Henrico were named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.88 or higher. Bowles is a 2018 graduate of St. Catherine’s School and is majoring in English and psychology. Dimond is a 2018 graduate of Collegiate School and is majoring in theatre and minoring in education.

Clara Giorgis and Grace MacDougall of Glen Allen were named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.7 or higher. Giorgis is a senior Russian and International Studies major. She is a graduate of Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School. MacDougall is a first-year student and a graduate of Trinity Episcopal School.

Christopher Ogom of Henrico recently graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He earned a master of public service degree in Public Service.

Kendra Turton-Jones of Henrico was named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Simmons University in Boston, Mass. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Vivian Hua of Henrico was named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at LIM College in New York. To earn this distinction, students must earn a grade point average of 3.50-3.79 for the semester.

Selina McLaughlin of Glen Allen and Shim Roane of Henrico recently earned an Award of Excellence at Western Governors University. This award is given to students who perform at a superior level in their coursework. McLaughlin is in the College of Business and Roane is in the Teachers College.

Mary Catherine Houser of Henrico recently graduated with a bachelor of arts from The University of Wyoming.
