Brooke Allen Biastock of Henrico graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in creative writing May 19 from Hollins University in Roanoke, Va. Biastock also was named to the spring 2021 dean’s list. To attain this distinction, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Biastock is a graduate of Deep Run High School and is the child of Greg and Leigh Biastock of Henrico.


Joyce Rusincovitch of Henrico was named to the spring 2021 honor’s list at Mercy College of Ohio. To be eligible for the honor’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.3 or higher. Rusincovitch is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in Nursing Post-Licensure.


Lillian Walker of Henrico graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geology May 23 from Whitman College in Washington. Walker also earned academic distinction for the spring 2021 semester, an honor bestowed upon students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Walker is a graduate of Randolph Macon Academy.


Julius Jackson of Henrico was named to the spring 2021 dean’s list at Campbellsville University in Kentucky. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5-3.99 for the semester.


The following local students recently graduated from The College of Charleston in South Carolina: Blake Waring and Lauren Weber, of Glen Allen; and Ashley Dowd, Jordan Barck and Rebecca Houck, of Henrico.


Colin Walker of Henrico recently graduated with a degree in Public Administration from Jacksonville State University in Alabama.


The following local students recently graduated from the University of Alabama: Amanda Bianco, Elizabeth O’Neill, Helen Russell, Juliana Strobing and Christian Tripp, of Henrico; and Claudia Long, of Glen Allen.


Emma Hester of Henrico was named to the spring 2021 dean’s list at York College of Pennsylvania. Hester is a senior majoring in Chemistry.


Caroline Palmer of Glen Allen was named to the spring 2021 dean’s list at Harding University in Searcy, Ark. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.65 or higher. Palmer is a senior majoring in Management.


Andrew Scott Haley and Landon Kendall Smith of Henrico graduated May 16 from Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. Haley received a bachelor of arts degree in government and philosophy with a concentration in American politics. Smith received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy with a minor in business.


Dylan Robert Leigh-Manuell of Henrico graduated in May from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y. He received a bachelor of science degree with great distinction in aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering, and minors in mathematics and business. Leigh-Manuell also was named to the spring 2021 dean’s list, a distinction granted to students who achieve a minimum 3.25 grade point average for the semester.


Isabella Ronson of Henrico recently graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire. Students who receive the summa cum laude honor graduated with a grade point average of 3.85-4.0. Ronson earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration-Marketing.


Alexis Brianna Ohree of Henrico graduated cum laude with a BA in communication May 22 from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa. Ohree also was named to the spring 2021 dean’s list, a distinction granted to students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
