of Glen Allen and Sophia Goldin of Henrico were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Murphy is majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Goldin is majoring in Civil Engineering. Both are members of the Class of 2024.

Jillian Edwards and Isaac Matlak of Henrico were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Wheaton College in Illinois. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Kylie Tritaik of Glen Allen and Rachel Thornton of Henrico recently were initiated into the national leadership honor society Omicron Delta Kappa at Christopher Newport University in Lexington, Va. Students initiated into the society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate/professional students in the top 35% of their class. Students must demonstrate leadership experience and embrace ODK ideals.

Morgan Wyatt of Henrico and Kayla Waterman of Glen Allen were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. Wyatt is majoring in Exercise Science and Waterman is majoring in Special Ed & ECH Ed.

Hallie Wilson of Henrico was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

The following local students were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.: Sophia Palumbo, of Glen Allen; and Graham Powell, Charlotte Harrison, John Whitlock and Zachary Bostic, of Henrico. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 for the semester.

The following local students were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Emerson College in Boston, Mass.: Camila Ariona and Victoria Friavez, of Glen Allen; and Heidi Garmise, of Henrico. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.7 or higher. Ariona and Friavez, members of the Class of 2023, are majoring in Political Communication and Acting, respectively. Garmise, a member of the Class of 2025, is majoring in Media Arts Production.

The following local students were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at the University of Alabama: Christin Elia, Kory Hummer and Rebecca Taylor, of Glen Allen; and Grayson Rogers, Stewart Berling, Carter Chambliss, Caroline Curtis, Charlotte Dudley, Caroline Godkin, Anna Marks, Helen Stoever, Benjamin Tavenner and Kendall Whitaker, of Henrico. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The following local students were named to the fall 2021 president’s list at the University of Alabama: Emily Kinsey and Meredith Taylor, of Glen Allen; and Trinity Barnett, James Campbell and Madeleine Miller, of Henrico. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 4.0 for the semester.

Madeleine Foteu and Joyce Rusincovitch of Henrico were named to the fall 2021 honors list at Mercy College of Ohio. To be eligible for the honors list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.3 or higher and be enrolled for 6-11 credit hours.

Anne Stewart of Henrico was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at the University of Iowa. Stewart is a freshman majoring in English and Creative Writing.

Irina Legendre and Haley Kellam of Henrico and William Sheppard of Glen Allen graduated in December from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Legendre earned a master of science degree in Analytics. Kellam and Sheppard earned bachelor of science degrees with highest honors in Architecture and Computer Science, respectively.
