The leadership honor society Omicron Delta Kappa recently initiated the following local students: Suyeon Kim, Karthik Lalwani and Kelsey Hark, of Glen Allen; Matthew Johnson, Connor Butterworth, Caroline Bisese, Lady Greer Corral, Josephine Holland, Alice Mendelson, Alexander Ezzelle, Joseph Hagan and Jake Kleinschuster, of Henrico; and Ximena Ramirez Alban, of Sandston. Students initiated into the society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate/professional students in the top 35% of their class. Students must demonstrate leadership experience and embrace ODK ideals.


The following students from Henrico County were named to the fall 2022 president’s list at Southern New Hampshire University: Shurine Perry, Melissa Baughman, Starletta Holt, Gabrielle Dunn, Amit Jwarchan, Henry McLean, Alexander Rodriguez, Adam Vosburg, Naimah Mobarak, Zachary Pitt and Sierra Iwaniw. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.700 or higher.


The following local students were named to the fall 2022 dean’s list at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.: John Whitlock, Charlotte Harrison and Carter Geissler, of Henrico; and Mia Salvi and Victoria Hughes, of Glen Allen. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a quality grade point average of 3.5 for the semester.


Anne Stewart of Henrico was named to the fall 2022 dean’s list at the University of Iowa. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Stewart is a second-year student majoring in English and Creative Writing.


Jason Woodson of Glen Allen recently graduated with a master of science degree in Business Analytics from the University of Iowa.


Matthew Jahn of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2022 dean’s list at SUNY Cortland. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.3 or higher. Jahn is studying Business Economics.


Gede Mastriyana of Henrico was named to the fall 2022 dean’s list at Berea College in Kentucky. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
