Nia Boyd of Henrico was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.75 grade point average for the semester.

The following local students were named to the fall 2024 president’s list at Southern New Hampshire University: Phyllis Gaines, Tamara Harris, Adam Vosburg, Destiny Milton, London Towles, Christian Ramosroman, Damien Bodo, Stacie Derricott, ShaRita Johnson, Lyndsey Walthall, Asia Farrar, Richard Hurdle, Lena Wanner, Antionette Breheny and Jyllian Calloway, of Henrico; and Iyana Peterson, Caleb Battaglia, Lydia Tack, Balaji Kadambi, Perla Alvarez Carranza and Vijaya Bhetwal, of Glen Allen. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.700 grade point average for the semester.

The following local students were named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire University: Christine Waldron, Baeleigh Hamlin and Ariel Brooks, of Henrico; Hannah Spence, Ella Reeson and Gabriela Sampaio Baker, of Glen Allen; and Gabrielle Holley, of Sandston. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.500-3.699.

The following local students were named to the fall 2024 president’s list at Shenandoah University in Virginia: Lillian Berger, Sydnee Flores, Ai-Zane Mason, Xavier Thompson and Lucy Van Lenten, of Henrico; and Kyrie Beiler, Clara Chenault, Caden Sherman and Braxton Snead, of Glen Allen. To be eligible for the president’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.90 grade point average for the semester.

The following local students were named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Shenandoah University in Virginia: Lillian Berger, Bryson Brathwaite, Sydnee Flores, Cassidy Holmes, Ai-Zane Mason, Tabitha Piwowarski, Xavier Thompson and Lucy Van Lenten, of Henrico; and Kyrie Beiler, Parker Bell, Clara Chenault, Tyler Dossat, Scott Fellin, Caden Sherman, Jackson Smith and Braxton Snead, of Glen Allen. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester.

Whit Baldwin, president of Helo Air, was selected as the Richmond International Airport Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2024. Baldwin was nominated for his support in reacting to a humanitarian crisis. During Hurricane Helene, his company flew missions to rescue and evacuate residents, and deliver critical supplies, medicine and food items.
