of Henrico was named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.


Wylie Shiffert and Cassie Willie of Henrico were named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at the University of Kentucky. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or higher. Shiffert is majoring in Mathematics and Willie is majoring in Undeclared/Exploratory Studies in AS.


The following local students were named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.: Collin Murphy, of Glen Allen; and Ben Davis and Sophia Goldin, of Henrico. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.


Rachel Durrette of Henrico was named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.00-3.74 for the semester. Durrette is a sophomore majoring in Nursing.


Shara Mangar and Joyce Rusincovitch of Henrico were named to the fall 2020 honors list at Mercy College of Ohio. To be eligible for the honors list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.3 or higher.


Sasha Frizzell of Henrico graduated in December from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Frizzell earned a MSLS Information and Library Science degree.


Jeff Cheng of Glen Allen and Charlie Vozenilek of Henrico were named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at the University of Utah. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Cheng is majoring in Games and Vozenilek is majoring in Psychology and Criminology.


The following local students graduated cum laude Dec. 19 from James Madison University: Jared Sturgill, of Glen Allen; and Taylor Ricks, Bladen Sisk, Parker Boxley and Grace Burnam, of Henrico. Juhi Patel of Glen Allen and Reagan Richmond of Henrico graduated magna cum laude from JMU.


Gov. Ralph Northam recently reappointed Kenneth M. Dye of Henrico to the Board of Trustees of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Dye is a community volunteer.
