Hailey Sell of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2021 president’s list at Western New England University in Springfield, Mass. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.


Jesse Ball and John Cunningham of Henrico and Ryan Van Horn of Glen Allen graduated with bachelor's degrees in December from the University of Mississippi.


The following local students were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va.: Kloe Wood, Amanda Fodor, Sarah Newman, Mary Abbott and Hannah Goldenson, of Henrico; Kloey Cole, of Sandston; and Madison Brousseau, of Glen Allen. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.


The following local students graduated with honors in December from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va.: Haley Holme (cum laude), Reid Christensen (summa cum laude), Corinne Landrum (cum laude) and Kalina Gregory (cum laude), of Glen Allen; and Corinne Downum (cum laude), Louis Johnson (cum laude), Abigail Lipton (cum laude) and Gwyneth Mackey (cum laude), of Henrico.

Edyonna Williams of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2021 honors list at Concordia University in Mequon, Wis. To be eligible for the honors list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or higher. Williams is a junior majoring in Early Childhood Accelerated.


Garrett Cox of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Hood College in Frederick, Md. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.


Matthew Jahn of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at SUNY Cortland in New York. Jahn is studying Business Economics.


Samantha Greene of Henrico and Nalani Payson of Glen Allen were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Tufts University in Medford, Mass. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
