Kenley Barrett Sapp of Glen Allen graduated magna cum laude in December from Furman University in South Carolina. Sapp earned a bachelor of arts in Communication Studies: Media Studies with a minor in Visual Strategy and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies.


Shannon McDaniel Hays of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2024 dean’s commendation list at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. To qualify for the dean’s list, students in the College of Arts and Sciences must earn a grade point average of 3.7 for the semester. Hays is a freshman majoring in Biological Sciences.


Libey Eynan of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. A graduate of The Steward School, Eynan is studying Psychology and Public Health at MC.


Dulcie Holtz and Hannah Smith of Henrico graduated Dec. 14 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Holtz earned a master’s degree in Business Administration. Smith graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Communication.


The following local students graduated in December from the Georgia Institute of Technology: Sajid Awadalla, Varun Natarajan and Samantha Simmons, of Glen Allen; and Robert Grimm, Adam Hall and William Russ, of Henrico.


Anne Stewart of Henrico was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at the University of Iowa. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher.


Carter Perkins of Henrico was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at La Salle University in Pennsylvania. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.


Evan Norris of Glen Allen graduated in December from the University of Mississippi. Norris earned a master of science degree in Sport Analytics.


Michael Timperio of Henrico was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Champlain College in Vermont. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
