Milestones - Feb. 1, 2022

Alexander Edward Tarr of Sandston was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Iowa State University. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Tarr is a senior pursuing an Architecture-Professional degree.

The following local students were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Bridgewater College in Virginia: Mark R. DeWitt, Richard W. Flournoy, Benjamin C. Hanks, Parker Sale and Jackson T. Wicker, of Henrico; and Lucas Bauer, Santia C. Fields, Sarah M. Henneberger, Valerie P. Lutz, Carter D. Strother, Pierce Strother and Dexter W. Walker, of Glen Allen. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher.

Sophia George of Henrico was named to the fall 2021 dean’s high honors list at Connecticut College. George, a member of the Class of 2024, is majoring in Art.

Malaz Elamin of Glen Allen graduated with a master of arts degree in December from the University of Alabama.

Libey Evnan and Shobha Pai of Glen Allen and Amina Beasley of Varina were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

Hannah Cillo of Henrico was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Cillo is a sophomore and graduate of Mills E. Godwin High School.

Ava Michaux and Stephen Edds of Henrico were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Clare Murphy of Henrico was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Analise Beres and Caroline Davis of Henrico were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Shivani Kundalia and Pallavi Natarajan of Glen Allen earned faculty honors for the fall 2021 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. This distinction is given to students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Balazs Kaszala and Haley Kellam of Henrico were named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Hanna Bautista of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Anderson University in South Carolina. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Timothy Rodriguez of Henrico was named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
