The Bridgewater College football team recently placed ten student-athletes on All-ODAC squads including Nazeer Jordan of Henrico. A sophomore, this is Jordan’s first All-ODAC selection with second team honors. He was second on the team with 80 tackles, including 31 solo stops. Jordan finished with 8.5 TFLs, which is good for third on the team and 10th in the league. He made at least five tackles in all but one game this season, including seven contests with at least seven stops. Jordan also forced a fumble and recovered a fumble.
Phi Kappa Phi, a collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, recently initiated the following local students at Virginia Commonwealth University: Isabel Wilson and Kristen Ramey, of Henrico; and Izabela Czekailo, of Glen Allen.
The following local students recently performed at Bridgewater College’s Holiday Extravaganza concerts: Sherie Davis and Parker Sale, of Henrico; and Sarah Henneberger and Alison Nickels, of Glen Allen. Eighty-one students in 12 different music ensembles took part in the performances, which included familiar seasonal songs.
