of Henrico recently was named to the 2022 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) fall all-academic team for volleyball at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. The recognition honors sophomores, juniors and seniors who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Cillo, a junior majoring in Art and Biology, is a graduate of Godwin High School.
Elizabeth Gurshpun of Henrico was named to the fall 2022 dean’s list at Emory & Henry College in Emory, Va. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.6 for the semester.
Phi Kappa Phi, a collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, recently initiated the following local students at Virginia Commonwealth University: Mary Alice Montgomery, of Henrico; and Sandra Saji, of Glen Allen.
