Gov. Glenn Youngkin recently announced additional key administration and board appointments: Board for the Blind and Vision Impaired – Dr. Joe Ashley of Henrico, project director for GWU Center for Rehabilitation, Counseling, Research, and Education; Virginia Board for People with Disabilities – Allison Kay Coles-Johnson of Henrico, registered nurse, retired; and Board for Contractors – Tripp Costen of Henrico, president of Costen Floors.


Samantha Greene, Lexi Pasternak and Nate Pfeffer of Henrico were named to the spring 2023 dean’s list at Tufts University in Medford, Mass. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher.


Diavionne Robinson of Henrico recently graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Communication from the University at Albany in New York.


Piper Mullins of Glen Allen and Zoe Gallagher of Henrico were named to the spring 2023 dean’s list at Youngstown State University in Ohio. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher.


Franklin Pugh of Henrico recently graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Game Design and Development from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.


Caroline Davis of Henrico recently graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Television Production & Studies from Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.


The following students from Henrico County graduated in May from the University of Wisconsin-Madison: Unity Bowling (MA in Library and Information Studies), Connor Phipps (BS in Biomedical Engineering), Courtney Teyssier (BA in History, Legal Studies), and Caleb Aman (BA in Communication Arts). Phipps graduated with Highest Distinction honors.


Elijah M. Mills of Glen Allen and Anthony L. Clary of Henrico were named to the spring 2023 scholastic honor roll at Oregon State University. To be named to the honor roll, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.


Grace MacDougall of Glen Allen was named to the spring 2023 dean’s list at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. A rising senior, MacDougall is majoring in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Japanese.
