Collin Missimer of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher.


Claire M. Pitzer of Henrico was awarded faculty honors for the fall 2019 semester at Trinity College in Connecticut. To be eligible for faculty honors, students must earn a minimum 3.667 grade point average for the semester.


Che’leah Shannon of Henrico was named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at the University of Iowa. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Shannon is a Business Direct Admission major in UI’s Tippie College of Business.

Hannah Gausepohl of Henrico was named to the fall 2019 president’s list at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. To be eligible for the president’s list, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average for the semester. Gausepohl is a Hospitality Resort and Tourism Management Pre-Major major.


Allison Lovell of Henrico was named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher.


The following students from Henrico County recently were inducted into the Order of the Gown at the University of the South in Tennessee: Caroline Wood Moorman, daughter of Elizabeth and Robert F. Moorman; Emily Page Stallings, daughter of Celeste and John G. Stallings, Jr.; and Mary Temple Moore, daughter of Elizabeth and Fredrick T. Moore. The Order of the Gown is an academic honor society and a unique student government body among U.S. colleges and universities. The wearing of the gown is both a sign of academic achievement and a promise to continue the ideals and traditions of the University.


The following area students were named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at the University of Delaware: Catherine Canning and Caitlin Chapman, of Glen Allen; and Jarrett Bender, Jacob Sitison, Elizabeth Fleming and Abigail Markel, of Henrico. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.


Isabella Ronson of Henrico was named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire. Ronson, a Business Administration and Marketing major, earned highest honors, given to students who have a semester grade point average of 3.85 or higher.


Feihan Yu of Shanghai and Elizabeth Douglas McLean of Henrico were named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at the University of the South in Tennessee. To earn dean’s list status, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.625 or higher. Yu is the daughter of Huan Sun and Yue Yu of Glen Allen. McLean is the daughter of Ann and Mark A. McLean.


Ashley Milo of Henrico graduated in December from Concordia University in Nebraska.


Hannah Polaski of Henrico studied abroad in Vienna, Austria, for the fall 2019 semester at Muhlenberg College.
