Milestones

Virginia Irby of Henrico earned the spring 2019 Dean’s Award with Distinction at Colgate University in New York. Students who earn a 3.6 or higher grade point average for the term are eligible for the award. Irby is a graduate of Douglas Freeman High School and is a member of the class of 2020 at Colgate.

Michael Quinan and Thomas Brewer of Henrico earned the spring 2019 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence at Colgate University in New York. Students who earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average for the term are eligible for the award. Quinan is a graduate of Mills E. Godwin High School and is a member of the class of 2019 at Colgate. Brewer is a graduate of Collegiate School and is a member of the class of 2022.

Sydney Caplinger of Glen Allen is a first-year student at the University of Iowa.
