Milestones

Gov. Ralph Northam recently announced additional appointments to his administration. The following residents were appointed to the Virginia Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education Commission: Rebecca Dovi of Henrico, Director of Education at CodeVA; Matt Kellam of Henrico, Military and Recruitment Program Coordinator at Dominion Energy; and Margaret Mayer of Glen Allen, Managing Vice President—Technology at Capital One.

Toby Bryant of Glen Allen was named to the spring 2019 dean’s list at UMass Dartmouth in Massachusetts. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

Mary Mahoney and Faith Kim of Henrico graduated in May from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Mahoney earned a master of science in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems. Kim earned a bachelor of science in Mathematics.
