Milestones

Stephen Baker of Glen Allen recently was named to Bob Jones University’s 2018 Chorale, a 50-voice choir comprised of undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of degree programs. Baker is a junior majoring in Sports Management.

The following area students recently were initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, a collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, at Virginia Commonwealth University: Shaima Abdelmotalab, Javeria Aijaz, Fawaz Alotaibi, Courtney Blondino, Grace Bowles, Fionnuala Bradley, Hannah Buckley, Rachel Cloutier, Tatem Crenshaw, Jack Foster, Brandi Horner, Megan Kazlauskas, Jessica Lai, Shannon McDaniel, Delaney Mills, Michele Olson Pancoast, Christine Orndahl, Kelsea Ward and Hall Wingfield, of Henrico; and James Ramsey and Mary Shalaski, of Glen Allen.

Devlin Montgomery of Henrico was named to the dean’s list for the first quarter of the 2018-19 school year at Randolph-Macon Academy. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a quarterly grade point average of 3.3 to 3.99. Montgomery is a sophomore and the son of Bill and Sharon Montgomery.
