Local EXIT Realty agents recently were honored by EXIT Realty Corp. International. Marc Austin Highfill, franchisee with EXIT First Realty of Richmond/Glen Allen, was honored with the Platinum Award. The award was given in recognition of closing 100+ real estate transaction sides during the production year July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. Mike Boone, sales representative with EXIT First Realty of Richmond/Glen Allen, was honored with the Silver Award. The award was given in recognition of closing 50+ real estate transaction sides during the last production year.


Virginia Governor-elect Ralph Northam has appointed Glen Allen resident Carrie Caumont as director of scheduling. She most recently served as director of government relations and member services at the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia. Prior to that, she served as director of scheduling for Governor Terry McAuliffe. She also served as a scheduler for Ed Ayers, president of University of Richmond, and for governors Tim Kaine and Mark Warner. She and her husband have two children.


Jennifer Bradley, of Henrico, recently was awarded a Love of Learning Award worth $500 from Phi Kappa Phi, a collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Awarded twice a year, Love of Learning Awards are designed to help fund post-baccalaureate professional development for active Phi Kappa Phi members including graduate or professional studies, doctoral dissertations, continuing education, travel related to teaching and research, career development and more. Bradley, laboratory and research manager at Virginia Commonwealth University, will use funds from the award to purchase references necessary for graduate coursework and preparation of a dissertation proposal. Bradley was initiated into Phi Kappa Phi in 2014 at Virginia Commonwealth University.
