Gov. Ralph Northam recently announced additional appointments to his Administration. B. Hayes Framme, of Henrico, was named to the Virginia Offshore Wind Development Authority. Framme is the government relations and communication manager southeast for Ørsted. Additionally, Thomas Thurston, of Sandston, was reappointed to the Safety and Health Codes Board. Thurston is an IUE-CWA staff representative for the Communications Workers of America.
Eastern Mennonite University student Bailey McInnis, of Henrico, has been named to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for Women’s Soccer. Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class. A student-athlete must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the year to be considered for an ODAC All-Academic Award.
Lauren N. Iezzi, of Henrico, graduated Aug. 10 from Clemson University. She earned a master of science degree in Food, Nutrition and Culinary Sciences.
