The following area students were named to the president’s list for the fall 2017 semester at Clemson University in South Carolina: Riley Mason Buckenmaier and Olivia Carter Williams, of Glen Allen; and Matthew H. Richardson and Jane Elizabeth West, of Henrico. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average for the semester.


The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at Clemson University in South Carolina: Madeline M. Blankenship and Anna L. Davis, of Glen Allen; and Selene Franziska Hess, Conor James O’Donnell, Scott E. Fath, Bailey Kirkland Ward Galstan, Charles McClain Graeber, Kate Nicholas Surgner, Tatum E. Timmerman and K’Von M. Wallace, of Henrico. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.50-3.99 for the semester.


Mariele E. Berkowitz, of Henrico, was named to the president’s list for the fall 2017 semester at LIM College in New York, N.Y. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a 3.8 or higher grade point average for the semester.


Jonbrandon Mullholand

Jonbrandon Mullholand, of Henrico, and several other second-year medical students at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pa., recently organized the 7th annual Alley-Oop for Autism three-on-three charity basketball tournament. The event took place Feb. 18 at Byron Recreational Complex at The University of Scranton. All proceeds went to the Northeast Regional Autism Center at Friendship House in Scranton.


Tyler Jahn, of Glen Allen, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at SUNY Geneseo in New York. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester.


Cassia Waligora, of Henrico, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at Wheaton College in Illinois. To earn dean’s list honors, students must earn a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester.
