Olivia Laskin, of Henrico, was named to the president’s honor roll for the fall 2017 semester at Oklahoma City University. Students must earn a 3.9 or higher grade point average for the semester to meet the president’s honor roll requirements.


The following area students graduated Dec. 16 from the University of Alabama: Natalie Anne Barr, of Glen Allen; and Jared Drew Canfield and Melanie Pearce Jones, of Henrico. Barr earned a bachelor of science in Human Environmental Sciences. Canfield earned a master of arts. Jones earned a master of science in Human Environmental Sciences.


Harrison Nichols, of Henrico, recently graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He earned a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering.


Caroline Forrest, of Henrico, earned dean’s list honors for the fall 2017 semester at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pa. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the semester. Forrest studies Linguistics at SJU.


Vance Berry, of Henrico, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the semester.


The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at the University of Kentucky: Brady Dylan Dalton, of Glen Allen; and Margaret K. Vasquez, Elizabeth Crossley Wagner and Catherine McKinna Taylor, of Henrico. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.6 or higher grade point average for the semester.


Greer Drummond, of Henrico, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the semester.


Angelina DeModna, of Glen Allen, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.4 or higher grade point average for the semester.
