Governor Ralph Northam recently appointed two Henrico residents to the Richmond Eye and Ear Hospital Authority: Wayne Shaia, physician at Balance and Ear Center, Inc.; and Walter F. Spence, vice president of maintenance and capital programs at Commonwealth Senior Living.
The following area students recently were initiated into the all-discipline collegiate honor society Phi Kappa Phi: Aven Jones (University of Georgia), of Henrico; and Jennifer Rucker (Virginia Tech), of Glen Allen.
Neha Rai of Henrico was named to the fall 2019 dean’s list at Emory & Henry College. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
